It almost has a jingle to it.
This morning we had International
Guests visiting Cape Town during their stay at Lagoon Beach Hotel request a transfer
to Table Mountain. I overheard this conversation and instinctively suggested a Half Day City Tour, Inclusive of Table Mountain.
Look for any tourist a City Tour is a must! Architecture
that spans from the 1600’s till the modern developments of today. Our city also
reflects a combination of the old and the new. No wonder Cape Town was voted
the Design Capital of 2014.
The views from the top of Table Mountain left our
visitors breathless and they eagerly told me what other activities and visits
they are interested in. Naturally visitors to our city will most definitely
request a tour to the Wine lands, but these guys had a little taste for the
sweeter things in life.
I eventually decided to offer them the option of a tour
to Paarl to do chocolate tasting. This obviously resulted in the Half Day CityTour being extended to a Full Day Tour. The beauty of selecting a Private Tour is
that it always gives the client flexibility to customise or change the tour to
their preference. You stop where you want to, stay over as long as you desire
and go where you want to. Your private tour guide would also be able to asses
personal requirements & needs and could suggest changes accordingly.
On scheduled tours one would most probably experienced a "Sorry.
This is all we can do today. Maybe try something tomorrow..." from a tour
guide.
The eventuality of it is that our visitors loved today's
tour so much, they decided to book two more days with a private tourist guide.
Where possible, it will always be better to have a
private guide. I know it cost more, but the value you get out of it will totally
out-weigh the cost by far.
Here is to a great day in the Cape!!!
